First a reminder that its only 4 weeks to Easter and any Easter campaign your doing should be launching very soon, at very least start theming your ads with a few bunnies, chocolate eggs and Easter copy and images.

Why does this work given we are as less tied to the Church calendar as earlier generations?

Because it’s a mood thing and it’s a fixed deadline. People are more positive and are more likely to spend during those key festival times in the year, Easter, Christmas, Spring and not just on Easter eggs and toys the sales figures of all sectors jump.

We all have great memories of Easter as kids and our sales resistance melts away like a Red Tulip bunny in the sun.

So don't swim against the tide, go with the flow and embrace the moment.

You can't be too corny with your copy, “Cracking Deals”, “Hop over to our place”, “Cheep, Cheep Easter Prices”, “John’s Egg-citing Easter Sale”, you get the idea.
